Mike Schinnerer has acted as the Creative Director, Project Manager and committee member for many high-end events. These type of events include charity fundraisers, fashion shows, wedding shows, competitions and even multi-class reunions.
In addition to assembling the collaborative participants based on skill set, Mike leads the marketing, graphic design, photo shoots and social media to assure a quality result for the team or client.
Twenty-two years of samples which weave through publication design, advertising agencies, marketing teams, fundraising, collaboration and personal enjoyment. Design and Digital Art is a passion.
2018 VOLUME! FANTASY HAIR + MAKEUP
The 2018 Volume! Fantasy Hair + Makeup Competition and Runway Show took place on Sunday, June 3rd. It was a fantastic night for the arts and beauty industries in New York’s Capital Region. The goal for all of my events and large-scale projects is to bring as many creatives with different specialties together and collaborate on a common goal. This one was a high energy runway show to showcase the skill sets of the hair and makeup professionals, supported by my creative team members.
In my (Creative) Director’s Cut, I wanted to cull down the thousands of images to just 100, that can tell the story of this epic event. Thanks to the photographers featured in this documentary who always do an amazing job covering an event. They are William LeBlanc, Doug Mitchell, Thom Williams, Evan Lauber, Michael Panzarino (M.A.P. Graphics) and Judy Lasher.
This was truly another team building experience. Please notice the details which separate this amazing group and an event by Mike Schinnerer Creative Services. IN THE LOUPE ORIGINAL PHOTO SHOOTS
Creative Director Mike Schinnerer produced a website in 2014-15 named In the Loupe to magnify Upstate New York’s creative scene. The site showcased the best photography the region had to offer on a monthly basis through submissions and original photo shoots. Mike curated photography from every angle; weddings, babies, models, lifestyle and even more obscure themes. Some months featured videography and other types of art.
Mike became familiar with a loupe in 1995 when he began his career at Sports Illustrated in the design and photo departments, when all the images arrived in the form of slides. Culling the images and making decisions on which photographs are to be featured is still one of his passions in this business. In the Loupe and the collaborations Mike leads as a Creative Director or Project Manager allows him that opportunity.
In this series of ITL original shoots, Mike built teams of photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists, fashion stylists and videographers to generate new and quality editorial content to showcase the talent from Upstate New York. Enjoy!
MARRELLO RESTAURANTS MARKETING
For much of 2016 - 2017 Director of Marketing Mike Schinnerer performed the marketing, graphic design and social media for Marrello Restaurants and Catering. The eight restaurants include the titles Bellini's Italian Eatery, Bellini's Counter, Jacob & Anthony's: J&A American and J&A Italian.
As the company’s graphic designer, Mike produced logos, menus, signage, table tents, rack cards, advertisements, websites, social graphics and the location’s interior designs.
